Surf & Pier Fishing – For the surfcaster, there are more than 100 miles of accessible beach. For pier anglers, there are several piers located along the Outer Banks. Surf and pier season begins in March. The season peaks in May and November.

Catch aboard the Sea Hunter
28 Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish caught on a half-day charter aboard the Sea Hunter out of Pirates Cove Marina, Manteo, North Carolina on Sunday, July 2, 2000.
The Sea Hunter is a custom built 35-foot Sportfisherman with a cruising speed of 24 knots, and specializes in intermediate and in-shore charters. Captain Vernon Barrington is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, and he's sure to make your charter experience an enjoyable time!
